Armenian news via social media - 1999 assasinations in the Parliament

The text below fails to mention that after this assassination the Armenian economy was taken over by Putin’s Russia. Every single strategic asset was “sold” for pennies.

Alexander Litvinenko, the FSB (KGB) officer lethally poisoned by FSB in 2006, admitted prior to his passing that GRU (Main Intelligence Directorate - Russian Military Intelligence) was behind the beheading of Armenia.

His response to the below post:

October 27 marks 24 years since the 1999 Armenian parliament shooting.

The attack was carried out by five armed men who broke into the Armenian National Assembly during the question and answers session and killed the two de facto decision-makers in the country’s political leadership.

The attack resulted in the death of the President of the National Assembly of the Armenian Republic, Karen Demirchyan, Prime Minister Vazgen Sargsyan, Vice Speakers of the National Assembly Yury Bakhshyan and Ruben Miroyan, MPs Mikael Kotanyan, Henrik Abramyan, Armenak Armenakyan, and Minister of Urgent Affairs Leonard Petrosyan.

Additional deputies and ministers were wounded, and those who survived were held hostage for several hours. The dead bodies were brought out of the parliament building later in the evening.

The hostages were released only on the morning of October 28, and the terrorists, having received security guarantees, surrendered and were transferred to the National Security Prison.

The terrorists, who were responsible of this heinous act were sentenced to life imprisonment.
