It’s an old Limestone quarry that was dug out from the side, much like a cave, but is now just a tourist attraction. They also rent space to different organizations for storage. When you take the tour, they’ll tell you that the - Storage / businesses underground near Springfield MO. Been there. 85 feet underground it’s a fun descent to get there from the top.
