this was a question received. here is the response by AS: UN press releases are available online since 13 Oct 1995 http:// www.un.org/News/Press/archives.htm http:// www.un.org/apps/pressrealeases all press releases published before 1995 are availabel on paper only. They are arranged by symbol and date http:// www.un.org/Depts/dhl/resguide/press1.htm and are not indexed to work with old press releases, the researcher has to come to the DHLibrary
