Punxsutawney, PA – Route 3008 between the intersections of Diamond Road, Gresock Road in Young Township, and Delaware Avenue in Punxsutawney was closed due to a sinkhole.

Best Places to Live in Easton, Pennsylvania

Mid-sized city complex - East-central Pennsylvania, along I-78 20 miles west of the New Jersey border. June, September and August are the most pleasant months in Easton, while January and February are the least comfortable months.

 I did a quick search in Realtor.com to check out the available houses

Most of the ones I liked looked nice, however they were very old. So that's not for a novice. An experiences flipper could handle it. And most built in the 1960 and back would have asbestos ISSUE and that's a red flag. I wouldn't touch it.

There weren't that many available houses that I would like to buy. Most of the new construction is way off price wise compared to the location next to the older houses.
Besides, even though you might not have kids, the rating of the schools is a good way of finding out if it's a good location to invest or live in.

At this point I would certainly pass that area. I still prefer Ardmore and Havertown areas of PA. However, a personal visit to those areas would give a better picture if they are worth buying a place.

It's located at the intersection of two rivers. Flooding could be an issue as well.

It seems it's more rural. As to transportation you certainly need a good running car!
