Haverford Village is a large development of townhouses on Ardmore Ave in Ardmore. It was built in 1974.
Pros
- Outstanding location. Less than 5 minutes drive to the shops, restaurants and train station in downtown Ardmore and the farmer's market in Suburban Square.
- The development borders a playground on the left side and Haveford College with its miles of trails and duck pond in the back
- The condo fee includes exterior maintenance, use of the community pool and all water usage
- The exteriors of the buildings which incorporate different colored brick are quite attractive
- Plenty of parking in the lot and on nearby streets
Cons
- Units are fairly small at 1100 - 1300 square feet
- There are no basements
- The development feels a bit crowded with little separation between buildings

- Prices of units and price per square foot are under the median for Lower Merion. Taxes are low as well. These homes are a very good value
- The development is adjacent to a park with a playground and playing fields
CONS
- The units are fairly small at 1150 feet or less.
- There are no garages though there is a parking lot
- Units have basement laundries
