Haverford Village is a large development of townhouses on Ardmore Ave in Ardmore. It was built in 1974.

Pros

  • Outstanding location. Less than 5 minutes drive to the shops, restaurants and train station in downtown Ardmore and the farmer's market in Suburban Square.
  • The development borders a playground on the left side and Haveford College with its miles of trails and duck pond in the back
  • The condo fee includes exterior maintenance, use of the community pool and all water usage
  • The exteriors of the buildings which incorporate different colored brick are quite attractive
  • Plenty of parking in the lot and on nearby streets

Cons

  • Units are fairly small at 1100 - 1300 square feet
  • There are no basements
  • The development feels a bit crowded with little separation between buildings

  • The development is adjacent to a park with a playground and playing fields
